Pledge

I'm committed to raising $20,000 to help combat the source and impact of Sexual Slavery and Human Trafficking in India. My goal for 2012 is to empower and encourage women to move forward as they re-value their lives, and their right to belong exactly as they are. In collaboration with Off The Mat Into the World, our mission is to support woman and children by sharing our wealth of freedom and skills by connecting them first-hand to safer and more supportive environments. Freedom of choice is a basic Human Right that's tangled in a web of culture and system in India and much of the developing world. I truly believe that if we continue to talk, raise awareness, and act together in a compassionate and optimistic way that we'll be able to untangle the source of destruction that's affecting over 3.3 million lives at this very moment. Let us support the growth of strength among women as they march forward together to fight for their freedom.

About Me  
I'm small but full of life! I'm inspired by light, versatility, and the 'impossible'. I just embarked on the 30's vessel so I'm amidst a world of confusion as my priorities shift and my heart, I swear, changes shape....Surprisingly my 'lifestyle' no longer brings me the freedom it once did. If I continue to bounce like a gypsie and prance like a fairy then I fear that I'll never land. For once I'm starting to believe that landing is the platform for freedom. Now....I'm finally going to do this….I'm going to attempt 'a' landing, reach out, and educate the crap out of myself….while continuing to be exactly who I am, but more of who I can be. Beyond lifestyle, parties, facebook, surfing, the mountains, yoga, travelling, biking, pho, birthday parties, dancing, Brett, Skookumchuk and handcrafted gems….taking action and being apart of this challenge fits almost more than the rest (notice how I said almost babe...). It feels like I've been flipped upside down and shaken...This rush of energy amidst, confusion, and a racing mind for some reason feels right, purposeful, and exciting… I can't think of one reason why I shouldn't embark. May the force be with me.
