Emily Clausi

Emily Clausi is the owner of Estudio Hot Yoga with locations in Latham and Clifton Park, NY. Emily has loved sports, movement, and fitness her entire life. She played three varsity sports during high school in her native New Hampshire, putting her passions into play from an early age. After graduating cum laude from Springfield College in 1993, she moved to New Jersey to develop employee fitness and wellness programs for a major pharmaceutical company. A growth opportunity brought her next to an investment bank in the heart of Manhattan, where she helped launch and direct a state-of-the-art fitness program and facility for 4,000 relocated employees. After four years of hustle and bustle, she moved to Albany to be closer to family and to raise her son Joseph. She continued working in the field of corporate fitness at various General Electric wellness centers in the Capital District. She took the risk to go out on her own and opened estudio in February 2007 after consistent encouragement from a wonderful employee at one of her fitness centers. With the inspiration and support of her yoga mentor, Susan Hoffman, and facing her fears, the risk paid off and Emily is deeply grateful that estudio thrives today in Latham and Clifton Park, New York.
