Jennifer Rogers

Donate Now Louisiana born and raised. After a brief 8 year hiatus and some training on the West Coast I'm back to share the experiences I've gained from all my travels. I originally came to yoga as a runner and cyclist seeking a better "work out" for my body but ended up finding a better "work out" for my spirit. I teach Vinyasa Flow geared toward active bodies. Whether you are a weekend warrior, a desk jockey, or a professional athlete, I offer something for everyone. I started practicing at Yoga Tree in San Francisco, CA and was certified in Portland, OR at a small school called the Lotus Seed. I've had many influential teachers and mentors and in the words of Michelangelo, "Ancaro Imparo, yet I'm still learning". Being a multi-movement practice sort of person I like to borrow bits and pieces from here and there into my classes. Yes, that may mean Yogi-Jacks (Thanks Shaney Aalbers) and some old school push-ups. Most importantly I invite everyone to have fun, smile, and hopefully leave class with something new. I choose YAA as my charity because their simple mission statement says it all Yoga for everyone...everywhere. I whole heartidly support bringing yoga into communities outside of our yoga world everyBODY should have the opportunity to practice. Regardless of individual demographics.
