Every year, we deliver a range of child and family and early childhood care and education services to thousands of children, young people and families throughout New Zealand. We’ve been nurturing the dreams and inspiring the futures of young New Zealanders since our first service opened in Mangere in 1972, and today we have nearly 1,000 staff in over 80 locations.
The donations received from Yoga Aid will contribute enormously towards helping
us improve children’s lives. Barnardos social workers provide services for vulnerable
children and families in communities around New Zealand.
We offer support and advice in times of crisis for:-
- Child and Family Counselling - support and advice in times of crisis
- Children’s Contact Service - rebuilding relationships
- Family Support Services - focus on children within families
- Parent Education Services - positive changes for children
